Folio, Hearth, and Keystone come first. Every later Program must earn priority through repeated pain, reachable operators, strong House reuse, bounded authority, and a credible one-time purchase.

Return. Understand. Capture. Review. Decide. Export. If those actions do not work across three genuinely different focus Programs, the architecture is not ready.
Public-safe pre-alpha interface studies using synthetic data. They are not release screenshots, and the interface may change during stress testing.

01The House foundation is free
Today, capture, generic records, search, decisions, review, backup, restore, and readable exit must be useful without a paid Program.
02Programs are paid once
Publishing, Shared Home, Property Steward, and later specialist depth are purchased as coherent Programs—not fragmented Desk microtransactions.
03Future versions are optional
A later major version must earn another purchase. It cannot disable the one already owned.
04Exit is never a premium feature
Readable export, backup, recovery, privacy, and access to existing records cannot sit behind the paywall.
The independent-operator path
Build what the work needs. Prove it under real pressure. Sell the result only when another House can leave with itself intact.
Systead began as infrastructure for one complicated independent operation: books, files, decisions, publishing, household responsibility, and years of context that could not be allowed to disappear. The private pre-alpha is turning that proof into a bounded product.
